We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to join Thompson Dallas

What you will do:

Serve as the head of colleague engagement You will be highly visible around the property, empowering every colleague at Thompson Dallas to do their best work, creating memorable experiences for our guests. Collaborate with our various departments to model and reinforce our values of Respect, Humility, Integrity, Creativity and Fun and responding to colleague inquiries via digital and in-person channels. Collaborate with the Human Resources Team to execute, develop and improve HR processes. Be an effective communicator to lead our training and development efforts, including facilitating our New Hire Orientation sessions to create a sense of belonging.

  • Responsible for processing payroll.
  • Assists in planning and coordinates employee functions, suggestion program, etc.
  • Champion recognition programs, colleague events and workplace experience.
    Create social media content and drive engagement across platforms to engage our colleagues on hotel happenings and culture (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter).
  • Administer employee changes in HR database with accuracy.
  • Support the delivery of HR processes and programs.
  • Support operational efforts through proper staffing and training of associates
  • Champion and monitor training programs and materials.
  • Be a brand ambassador in the community to establish Thompson Dallas as the employer of choice, and so much more

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills, empathy and a welcoming, engaging personality
  • Strong written and verbal communications
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, positive, creative, effective communicator and focused on providing exceptional customer service
  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
  • Confidentiality and high judgment with handling sensitive matters
    Proficiency in Microsoft365 applications
  • 2+ year in a relevant Human Resources role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, HRT Management, Business or a related field
