School Psychologist Needed for 24/25 School Year nearDulce, NM

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team for the 24/25 school year near Dulce, NM. This is a full-time position within our dynamic school district.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral strengths and challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Provide counseling and support services to students facing academic, social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop appropriate interventions.
  • Serve as a resource for teachers and staff on issues related to child development, mental health, and learning disabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid School Psychologist license or certification in the state of New Mexico. (Pending licenses accepted)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an educational setting, preferably in a K-12 environment.
  • Knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education laws and regulations.
