Vaco has partnered with a client on the northside of Indianapolis to hire a Billing Specialist for an Architecture and Engineering Firm. This is a direct hire opportunity. Employees work a hybrid schedule. Duties:
  • Managing all aspects of the monthly billings for all out-of-state projects (mainly Michigan, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, etc.)
  • Entering new out-of-state agreements to the database
  • Detailed recordkeeping for all assigned projects
  • Processing accounts payables that pertain to all assigned projects (subconsultant invoices)
  • Working closely with applicable Project Managers as necessary
  • Providing accounting support as required to other team members (other billing or project related duties, recording accounts receivable, etc.)
  • Completing special projects as required

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years accounting experience
  • Experience with Deltek Ajera or Vision (or other industry related product) in an Architectural or Engineering firm is essential
  • Proficient with Microsoft standard software (Word and Excel)
  • Some knowledge of Microsoft Teams or other related product preferred
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task is essential
