THE WORK

Lockheed Martin is seeking a candidate with strong organizational abilities to work in a dynamic production environment independently and as part of a team to develop, evaluate and deliver Combat Systems Operational Sequencing System (CSOSS) packages for U.S. Navy and foreign navy ships..
In this position you will be responsible for:

•Developing diagrams for air, power, and water distribution related to Combat Systems.
•Gather and analyze required data for the purpose of developing initialization, casualty response, and operational procedures that accompany the diagrams for the Combat Systems and related equipment.
•Work with ships force, shipyard test teams, and other vendors to coordinate documentation and validation of CSOSS.
•Familiarize ships force with CSOSS product and use.
•Coordinate with production facilities and sites for production and delivery.
•Travel to domestic and international (foreign countries) locations for CSOSS development, ship checks, and validation as required by management.

Strong technical background
Ability to independently evaluate complex technical data and interpret changes required to documentation.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Travel to domestic and international (foreign countries) locations for CSOSS development, ship checks, and validation as required by management.
Must be able to navigate through shipboard spaces and climb up and down steep ladders between decks.
Desired Skills:
• US Aegis experience
experience using CSOSS
• Combat System Officer of the Watch (CSOOW) qualified.
• Ability to read and understand Shipyard drawings and engineering documentation.
• Knowledge of and experience with air, power, and water distribution systems related to Naval Combat Systems.
• Experience with US Navy and/or other military personnel
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
