The position will have a combination of teaching and research responsibilities. The candidate will teach undergraduate and possibly graduate-level courses in marketing and entrepreneurship. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and possibly graduate courses in marketing, serve as an academic advisor, participate in curriculum development, and serve on institutional committees, as well as mentor students in research projects, and other duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Ability to advise and mentor studentsRecruit students and develop the accounting programUse of Blackboard and online learning pedagogy KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Experience teaching marketing and entrepreneurship at the college levelExcellent computer skills and ability to teach onlineAbility to work effectively with students from various cultural and socio-economic backgroundsAbility to work effect effectively with supervisors, colleagues, staff, and students as part of an educational team.A strong commitment to diversityStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in the university setting.
