Are you passionate about supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students? Join our team as a School Psychologist in Tulsa, OK, and play a crucial role in fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. In this role, you will work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators to address the diverse needs of our student population.

Responsibilities:

  1. Comprehensive Testing and Evaluation: Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments, including testing, re-evaluations, and report writing, to identify students' strengths and areas of need in academic, social, emotional, and behavioral domains.
  2. Individualized Intervention: Develop and implement personalized intervention plans to address students' academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges. Provide counseling and support services to help students develop coping skills and achieve their educational goals.
  3. Consultation and Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to develop and implement strategies to support student success. Provide consultation to parents and caregivers on issues related to student development and academic progress.
  4. Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention services as needed, including risk assessment and appropriate intervention strategies to ensure student safety and well-being.
  5. Advocacy and Support: Advocate for the needs of students with diverse backgrounds and abilities, including those with disabilities or special needs. Collaborate with stakeholders to promote inclusive practices and create a positive school climate for all students.
  6. Professional Development: Stay current with research, best practices, and trends in the field of School Psychology. Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Master's in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Oklahoma Psychology License.
  • Previous experience in schools or pediatric offices preferred, position is with high school students.
  • Certification from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of adolescent development and mental health issues.
