The Opportunity:

As a Systems Engineer on our team, you’ll have the chance to shape the Air Force client's capabilities by leading systems and airworthiness engineering implementation and initiatives for propulsion systems design, development, and acquisition. Your technical expertise will be vital as you provide airworthiness systems engineering expertise to develop strategies for system behavioral analysis, requirements verification and test planning, and interface integration and management for propulsion systems. You will continue to develop your skills in systems engineering and airworthiness while gaining experience with aerospace propulsion systems. Grow your skills by merging systems engineering and airworthiness to help acquire new propulsion systems. Join our team and help turn requirements into actions that drive and deliver digital innovation to the U. S. Air Force.

You Have:

  • 12+ years of experience with systems engineering
  • Experience with the U.S. Air Force airworthiness certification process
  • Experience working on an ACAT I Program
  • Knowledge of U.S. Air Force acquisition and engineering processes
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work confidently with and present to senior ranking officials
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience as a Chief Engineer on an ACAT I Program
  • Experience with modeling and simulation
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master's degree in Engineering
  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III System Engineering or equivalent Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
