Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Psychologist for the 2024-2025 school year. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with students, teachers, parents, and administrators to promote student success, provide psychoeducational assessments, and develop intervention strategies to address the diverse needs of our student population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Provide counseling and mentoring services to students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Lead professional development sessions for staff on psychological and educational topics.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student progress and well-being.
Qualifications
  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology
  • Valid Georgia certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for certification).
  • Experience in conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing IEPs.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a K-12 setting.
