Job Description The selected candidate will have the following duties and responsibilities:
  • Performs various administrative and record keeping tasks related to the Strategic Systems warehouse.
  • Prepares routine correspondence and reports to include monthly, weekly, daily DOCU-SCAN and summary e-mails.
  • Covers requisition status, MILSTRIP ORDERS, referrals and special reports for both on and off station movements of SSP material.
  • Professionally and effectively communicates with others at all levels within and outside BAE SYSTEMS.
  • Establishes priority and carries out assignments effectively to ensure quality work is completed in a timely manner.
  • Works with a team of SCA Supply Technicians.
  • Manages and processes the issues, receipt, transaction posting, inventory and reporting for Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) owned Prime Contractor material.
  • Responsible for the management of open requisition files through to the final issue.
  • Analyzes, conducts causative research and reconciles differences between inventory count and stock records.
Expedites all UK material to the UK and preforms the following functions:
  • Update daily the UK log to reflect correct material and quantities received.
  • Place FEDEX labels and prepare all shipments going to UK and provide tracking information.
  • Inputs the Proof of Deliveries in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for UK requisitions.
  • Inputs the Proof of Deliveries in UK accounting system CLASP.
  • Receives emails weekly from Super user on cancellations and price.
  • Produces the monthly UK financial metrics.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills Minimum education and years of related/relevant work experience required: High School diploma and at least four years of general clerical experience/ Naval supply.

Additional skills/experience required:
  • Requires a general understanding of supply regulations, policies and procedures of the department of the Navy, and extensive reading comprehension skills and knowledge of the logistical terminology used in the Naval Supply system
  • Requires analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines
  • Requires working knowledge of POWER POINT, MICROSOFT WORD & EXCEL programs.


Pay Information
This position is covered by a wage law called the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA). The wage range for this position is determined by the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor on a contract-by-contract basis.
