We're hiring a Software Trainer/IT Support Specialist to assist with employee training and development and provide IT support for one of our local clients in the Wilsonville area This role involves identifying training needs, developing programs, and helping employees with hardware and software issues. Additionally, you'll coordinate with our external IT support team.

Summary

We are seeking candidates with comprehensive experience in software training, particularly in platforms such as Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint. Additionally, proficiency in setting up templates for new employee onboarding within an ERP system is essential, alongside providing continuous guidance on software utilization best practices. The role involves configuring dashboards within the new ERP system and assisting in their implementation when needed. Furthermore, responsibilities include monitoring training progress, ensuring completion, and verifying effective utilization of the acquired skills by employees.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Support employee training and development by finding or creating training materials, organizing training activities, and assessing effectiveness.

Coordinate virtual and in-person learning experiences like 'lunch and learn' sessions.

Manage training content, assign training tasks, and maintain records.

Provide technical support and development for our enterprise management system.

Assist with the company-wide implementation and use of software like Microsoft Office Suite and our ERP system.

Research and evaluate training methods and content.

Help end users with hardware and software issues via phone and email.

Manage IT ticket queue, resolving or escalating issues as needed.

Coordinate with external IT support for equipment installation, testing, and upgrades.

Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.

Training Delivery:

Lead training sessions using various techniques to accommodate different learning styles.

Ensure training sessions are engaging and relevant to participants' roles.

Required Skills & Experience:

Understanding of adult learning principles.

Ability to assess training needs and select appropriate resources.

Proficiency in MS Office and Acumatica.

Problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Experience in a training role and/or technical support.

Education Requirements:

2-3 years in a training role.

Associate degree or 1-2 years' experience in Technical/Computer/Help Desk Support.
