Senior Finance Business Partner is a critical role, that provides financial leadership and strategic direction to Walmart, Sam's Club, Value & Drug Channels. The primary responsibility is to partner with channels' Vice Presidents and Leadership Teams to achieve profitable growth and create value for Mars Inc.

Responsibilities include defining and delivery of financial objectives, assessing risks and opportunities, providing Insights Into performance, performing investment ROI, driving P&L improvement, and maintaining strong financial controls over Trade. This role is the liaison between Walmart, Sam's Club, Value & Drug teams and Mars Wrigley North America finance.

Please note, this role requires being customer facing in Bentonville, AR. If not already located in this area, relocation support will be provided.

What are we looking for?

Bachelor's degree in Finance. MBA, CPA, or master's degree preferred.9+ years of relevant experience in CPG industry, experience/knowledge of US Retail landscape. Experience with Walmart is preferred.Finance Leadership experience. Lead finance partner to a business unit, market, business function. Representing finance agenda on a cross functional Leadership Team. Track record of influencing key decisions and stakeholders to achieve tangible business results.Skillset: Dealing with Ambiguity, Command skills and Influencing, Collaborates/Customer focus, Drives results, Strategic Mindset, Decision Quality.
What will be your key responsibilities?

Partner with Sales to develop Customer and Channel strategies. Transform these strategies into integrated Value Creation plans. Identify levers and priority initiatives to deliver Value Creation goals.In collaboration with Sales Revenue Management (SRM) and Sales teams, develop annual Channel and Customer financial plans and key activities to execute these plans.Act as a liaison and advocate for the Channel as it relates to Investment decisions, resourcing, process changes.Provide insights into financial performance, proactively identify, and analyze business issues and opportunities and drive actions to meet financial commitments. Bring perspective by analyzing trends, performance indicators and connect Customer/Channel performance with overall business performance.Lead the Quarterly Trade Investments reviews to evaluate risks and opportunities, drive trade-off decisions and ensure Channel Trade Strategy supports overall business objectives.Proactively analyze and manage Customer P&L with close attention to MAC to deliver optimal sales and contribution. Champion ROI/MAC mindset across all account teams. This Includes developing best practices, training, and application of tools.Actively participate in trade-off conversations and ensure robust financial evaluation of all major decisions, including Trade, Shopper, Display & Equipment, Customization.Drive digital agenda, improvement of analytical tools and simplification of processes.Support ad-hoc requests and projectsEnsure strong financial controls are embedded across Sales operations.
