Original Gourmet Sales Account & Territory Manager – Confections & Baked Goods

General Summary

The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading, managing and growing Original Gourmet’s business in their defined US region/channel. The Sales Manager will also be expected to search for and develop new business. Customer responsibilities will likely include a cross section of both strategic and transactional business. Leading in collaboration with marketing and effectively managing cross functional resources (marketing, product development, supply chain, and insights) is critical for success. The Sales Manager must be able to think and lead strategically, both internally and externally, linking strategies between organizations and influencing all parties/functions on joint initiatives to deliver business objectives.

Job Description

Executes business plan to grow business in given territory channel. Creates strong database of current and new customers Collects information from the market concerning trends, competition and market needs and relays them to the corporate office. Manages relationship between customer and Original Gourmet corporate to ensure business runs smoothly. Is responsible for complete sales process. From managing key accounts, maintaining a long-term relationship with accounts and maximizing sales opportunities with them.
