**Qualifications:**

* Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
* Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery.
* Completion of a residency training program in General Surgery.
* Fellowship training or significant experience in Emergency General Surgery preferred.
* Valid medical license and unrestricted ability to practice medicine in New York State the designated jurisdiction.
* Excellent clinical skills with a proven track record of managing surgical emergencies effectively.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, professionalism, and continuous quality improvement.
* Ability to adapt to high-pressure situations and make sound clinical decisions in emergent settings.
* Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and flexible scheduling as needed.
