The applicants must be willing to give love and compassion to our residents. We are a privately owned and operated 24-hour skilled nursing facility with an in-house rehabilitation department. We offer competitive salary and benefits for qualified applicants.

Full Time Schedule: 2pm - 10pm (rotating schedules) 3 day weekend every 3rd weekend

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accurately prepare, administer, and observe resident for reaction or side effects and document medications as prescribed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a registered CNA.
• Be in good standing on Nurse Aide Registry and Nurse Assistant Misconduct Registry.
• Must have current Certified Nurse Assistant Certification in Texas.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.
• Must be capable of performing the Essential Job Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Accurately take and record vital signs
• Observe all residents and report anything unusual or abnormal to Charge Nurse. Ability to safely care for residents in a patient and respectful manner despite some resident's lack of cooperation.
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance in accordance with facility absence policies.
• Perform Nurse Aide duties, as directed. 
• Promotes positive public relations with patients, residents, family members and guests
• Uses tactful, appropriate communications in sensitive and emotional situations.
• Use appropriate work place behavior and adhere to dress code at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse.
