You will be part of a matrix organization in our Global IT/ Infrastructure Services department. The Network Specialist for Connectivity Services is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of all connectivity services within the organization. This role focuses on ensuring that network and telecommunications services meet the needs of the business, while also providing exceptional support to end-users. A Network Specialist for Connectivity Services plays a critical role in managing and ensuring the smooth operation of connectivity-related services within an organization.

Your key areas of responsibility include

  • Network Management
    Manage the Nilfisk network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks. Monitor network performance, diagnose, and resolve connectivity issues, and implement improvements to enhance reliability and speed.
  • Internet Services
    Ensure the availability and performance of internet services, including broadband and leased lines. Monitor internet security and implement measures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Service Quality and Optimization
    Establish and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) for connectivity services.
    Continuously evaluate and optimize connectivity services to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Vendor Management
    Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure and maintain connectivity services. Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms.
  • Project Management
    Oversee the execution, and delivery of connectivity projects on time and within budget.
  • Security and Compliance
    Implement security measures to protect data and network assets.
    Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to connectivity services.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    Maintain accurate records of network configurations, hardware, and software licenses. Prepare regular reports on network and connectivity performance for management.

We are looking for you if you possess the followings:

  • AS in IT or Bachelor degree is preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certification in network management (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in network and telecommunications management.
  • Firmware/software update of network devices and tools
  • 1-2 years' experience operating global IT environments.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Security view in all aspects
  • Team player with good attitude
  • Ability to learn new things.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken
  • Azure infrastructure knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Project management skills.
