Position Overview

 

Develop documentation request system. Attain/maintain knowledge of the manufacturing plants, laboratory, and documentation to aid in the accurate completion of customer questionnaires; obtain information as required for unique questions. Collaborate with team members and contacts at other locations to obtain required documentation that is not currently available. Use SAP for required product data.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

  • Ability to learn Pennant Manufacturing and Quality processes to easily complete questionnaires; collaborate with appropriate colleagues, both internal and external, to obtain required information.
  • Completion of customer questionnaires/documentation requests
  • Develop SOPs in partnership with the area SME’s and maintain revision tracking.
  • Assist QC Management and Procurement with retrieval & organization of supplier (raw material and packaging) food safety documentation as required by GFSI certification and Supplier Approval Program.
  • Collaborate with Puratos Corporate Quality and local Quality Management team to obtain required information to maintain raw material risk assessment records.
  • Utilize local SAP system to acquire required product data.
  • Provide support for Recipe Management Systems
  • Available to occasionally work extended hours

 

Prior Knowledge/Experience

 

  • Food industry experience preferred.
  • General understanding of FDA and Food Regulations preferred.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail, thorough, high degree of accuracy.
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Team player.
  • Must have good command of the English language, both written and verbal

 

Compensation

 

Hourly compensation for this position is based on skills and experience, ranging from $23.00 - $28.00
