THE JOB:

The role of a Housekeeping Quality Assurance Manager is crucial in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization to create a positive experience for customers and occupants while ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and audits of rooms, facilities, and common areas to assess cleanliness, organization, and maintenance standards.

  • Identifying Issues: Identifying areas for improvement and addressing any deficiencies or issues promptly to maintain high-quality standards.

  • Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of inspections, audit findings, and corrective actions taken to track performance and compliance over time.

  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices related to housekeeping and cleanliness.

  • Developing Standards: Creating and implementing housekeeping standards and procedures to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with industry regulations and company policies.

  • Training Staff: Providing training and guidance to housekeeping staff to ensure they understand and adhere to established standards and procedures.

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

  • 2 years of prior relevant experience

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT:

  • Familiarity with housekeeping equipment, and industry-specific software systems.

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the housekeeping department of a hotel, resort, or similar hospitality establishment is preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with staff, guests, and other departments.
