Job Location: Rosemont, IL Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Identify new recycling growth opportunities in the value chain, focusing on scrap sourcing and sorting positions upstream of the cast house operations.
  • Mature selected projects and execute in close collaboration with the recycling management and commercial teams.
  • Identify potential acquisition targets, perform valuation analysis, and participate in teams to pursue acquisition opportunities.
  • Perform profitability analysis of recycling investment proposals.
  • Identify and evaluate new opportunities outside the current core positions.
  • Work with project teams to execute recycling projects, acting as project manager.
Competencies Required:
  • Strategic and commercial mindset; ability to move projects from analysis to implementation.
  • Competence in applying quantitative and analytical methods to business opportunities.
  • Financial acumen and affinity for market trends and opportunities.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, knowledge of PowerBI and SAP is desirable. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to align stakeholders to a common goal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage internal and external resources to deliver projects.
  • Familiarity with matrix organizations and international business operations are both desirable. 
Required Education/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics or science is required, Master’s degree or MBA is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in business development, management consulting.
  • Knowledge of the aluminum or metals industry is desirable.
