About This Position:
This Nurse Educator will support Ambulatory Oncology. The Oncology Nurse Educator is an RN who influences the professional role competence and professional growth of nurses in a variety of settings. He or she is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs and activities for nursing staff using nursing, adult learning and other theories as appropriate. As an educational advisor and learning facilitator to other nursing professional practice program leaders and staff, the Nurse Educator serves as a leader, innovator, and change agent in the pursuit of improved nursing practice and professional development. You will be responsible for creating and implementing structures and processes that support the standard onboarding, education, and ongoing competencies of oncology nurses. This will also include opportunities to participate in the development of centralized education initiatives across our nursing education department. The ideal candidate will have acute care experience in an academic medical hospital and experience in the field of oncology and nursing education.

Who Should Apply:
- Master's degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Current registered nurse licensure in the state of Maryland
- Active BLS CPR certification
- 5 years of nursing experience. Minimum of three years of nursing experience in an acute care setting in the specialty of oncology.
