Job Description

VEOLIA Water Technologies & Solutions (VWTS) is a worldwide leader in water recovery, treatment and reuse. Our portfolio includes chemicals & monitoring solutions, start-up operation, membrane & ion exchange products, and custom engineered equipment.

The EHS Field Specialist will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for the NAM ES East region.

This position will implement, maintain, and improve all aspects of the company's EHS program including compliance, health and safety program development, compliance with applicable federal, state / local requirements This role requires sufficient experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to affect short-term and some long-term business goals and safe solutions for our business and customers we serve.

Specific activities may include, but are not limited to:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices.Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees, supervisors, and managers to increase awareness and promote adherence to safety protocols.Foster and comply with procedures for reporting and investigating EHS incidents, including near-misses, accidents, and environmental spills.Coordinate with management and supervisors to ensure compliance with EHS framework or ISO standards where applicable.Lead incident investigations to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.Conduct regular audits and inspections of facilities, worksites, and equipment to assess compliance with EHS regulations and company standards.Support customer EHS inquiries and discussions as they are related to conduct of Field activities.Lead / Assist in special projects as assigned including risk reduction initiatives, Gensuite management, and internal program audits.Collaborate and coach business team members to create a culture where inclusion and diversity are valued.

Core Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in EHS, engineering, science or technical field3-5 years in EHS Administration or support positions.Strong observational, analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong Written and Verbal communication skills.Routine travel required
