Overview:

As the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, you will play a key role in leading the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis functions of the company. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership and business units to provide actionable insights, support strategic initiatives, and optimize financial performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a passion for driving business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the FP&A team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to financial analysts and planners.
  • Develop and execute the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads and stakeholders to align financial targets with business objectives.
  • Analyze financial data, key performance indicators (KPIs), and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, variance analysis, and forecasts to senior management and the board of directors.
  • Collaborate with business units to develop financial models, business cases, and investment proposals for new initiatives and strategic projects.
  • Evaluate and assess the financial impact of operational decisions, pricing strategies, and market trends to optimize profitability and revenue growth.
  • Implement financial planning tools, systems, and processes to streamline workflows, improve accuracy, and enhance decision-making capabilities.
  • Monitor and track financial performance against budget, forecast, and targets, identifying risks and opportunities for course corrections and improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Experience in financial planning and analysis roles, with a proven track record of leading FP&A teams and driving financial performance.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and scenario planning.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence decision-makers.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with financial planning tools and systems (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, BI tools) and a willingness to adopt new technologies and methodologies.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and develop innovative solutions to achieve business goals.
  • Strong leadership abilities, including coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
