As a Barclays BARX Client Services FX & FX Options Analyst, you’ll be the primary point of contact for external clients and internal users of the BARX Foreign Exchange eCommerce applications. You’ll cover setup, pricing, trade queries and general functionality and connectivity issues for FX and FX Options electronic trading support. This is an opportunity to be part of a global team that provides 24/5 support for external clients in their use of the platforms as well as for our internal sales and trading colleagues.

Salary / Rate Minimum: 70,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: 100,000

What will you be doing?

• Providing first line client business support via global inbox and hotlines
• Troubleshooting a variety of setup, pricing and trade queries relating to BARX, as well as working with associated teams and applications to reach resolution
• Analyzing quickly potential risk or trade exposure, escalating to the relevant trading or management teams, and involving our risk and compliance partners where necessary
• Taking ownership and accountability of customer queries and problems, running real-time management and co-ordination of system outages with IT support
• Working with the development team, trading and sales colleagues to enhance the client experience and to improve system functionality
• Leading and managing system upgrades and DR testing on weekends at regular intervals throughout the year

What we’re looking for:

• Knowledge of FX and/or FX Option product types
• Analytical and quantitative ability with comfortable using Excel, and excellent troubleshooting skills
• Proactive, team oriented and goal driven attitude with excellent communication, networking and presentation skills
• Willingness/ability to work shifts, including Bank Holidays and some Sundays

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Knowledge of financial markets
• Knowledge of single-dealer platforms and multi-bank portals
• Solid grasp of desktop PC technology
• Relevant educational background

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
