We are looking for a creative, energetic professional who will be responsible for electro-mechanical assembly in our industrial equipment manufacturing facility in Duncan, South Carolina. Sealed Air provides packaging products and machinery to our customers along with service agreements. This is a First Shift position: Monday thru Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. This position is eligible to receive $2,000.00 Sign-on Bonus

 

  • Experience in mechanical assembly and troubleshooting required; assembly of capital equipment preferred.
  • Maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Ability to assemble conveyors, equipment, and integrate sub-assemblies and sub-components.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and wire run lists.
  • Responsible for wiring, set up, and adjustment of industrial equipment.
  • Initiate production startup and validates equipment.
  • Experience in proper use of hand tools (i.e. torque wrenches, crimpers, drills).
  • Experience, understanding and knowledge of basic hardware (metric and standard).
  • Ability to work with engineering to apply modifications based on customer requests.
  • Assemble motor controls for PLC.
  • Knowledge of writing and operating PLCs and HMIs.
  • Ability to manage time to meet deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to act on verbal communication when prints are not available.
  • Ability to follow SOPs

 

Pay: $32.00 per hour
