Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manages all activities related to the staffing and operation of a deskside support team
  • Plans, prioritizes, and schedules deskside support activities to ensure continuity of service
  • Leads, directs, evaluates, and develops deskside staff to ensure that users receive competent and timely service
  • Analyzes deskside support inquiries to identify recurring problems, recommend solutions, and identify areas where deskside service can be improved
  • Ensure that deskside support staff use and maintain problem management databases or other help desk software so that deskside support activities and performance can be monitored
  • Develop problem-solving guidelines, checklists, or other materials to assist deskside support staff in responding to user problems that are recurring or routine
  • Evaluates Deskside Support Systems and Processes for efficiencies and recommend improvements, as needed
  • Respond to more complex, escalated inquiries from deskside support team members
  • Manages one or more small to medium-sized teams consisting of a few disciplines.
  • Perform annual/semiannual performance reviews
  • Address's deskside support technicians when technicians are escalated by customer
Position Qualifications:
  • Required skills: Field Services, Desktop Support- Remote, Windows 10, LAN and WAN and Service Now
Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 06/14/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $32,900 to $79,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
