As the Recreation supervisor your responsibilities include but are not limited to supervise and coordinate all activities and services for resort guests utilizing our pool and fitness center. As well as providing guidance and leadership to all team members in the department.

Our ideal candidate has recreation experience, has worked at a high-volume resort, and has a passion for hospitality.

What will I be doing?

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard:

Monitor quality of service by observing or asking customers about needs; resolve customer complaints about service, food quality, etc. by assessing problem and taking immediate action. Coordinating day to day operations of the Pool deck including proper chair and cabana set-up and maintenance, ensuring guest are greeted by name and escorted to respective areas on deck and serviced accordingly with towel and chair set-up. Supervising team members so that all guests’ needs are exceeded and service evaluations goals are met. Managing all operating inventories and supplies including linen, food & beverage offerings, etc. Relocating and returning deck furniture for all special events Implement procedures to control food and labor costs. Develops and implements all resort guest recreation activities. Ensures that guests utilizing the pool and restaurant area of the resort are provided a 5 diamond experience. Supervises pool attendants, servers, bartenders and food runners to ensure that service evaluation goals are met. Develops and implements all amenities for resort guests. Manages inventory of linen and appropriate guest amenities. Maintain positive working relationships with regular vendors, guests and co-workers. Administer procedures related to Internal Audit. Monitor storage and rotation of food stock and supplies to insure sanitation and inventory procedures are in accordance to hotel guidelines. Requirements
