WITF is seeking a proven fundraising leader to serve as our new Director of Advancement. This role will be a key member of the leadership team that provides leadership on the organization’s strategy for fundraising and donor engagement. This role will lead an advancement team that will work to fund the key pillars of our organization that includes WITF Public Media, LNP Media Group, and the Steinman Institute for Civic Engagement. In addition to leading the advancement team, this role will spend considerable time stewarding donors, partners, and prospects across the Central Pa region as well as potential funders outside of the region. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of experience leading a fundraising team with annual financial goals of at least $10 million or an equivalent amount of experience in lieu of a degree. They should have a proven track record of exceeding fundraising goals, setting performance standards, and the ability to organize and delegate tasks. Strong communication skills are a must along with the ability to form relationships within the organization as well as in the community we serve.
