Seeking a full-time Palliative Medicine physician to join an established and well-supported interdisciplinary team that provides inpatient and outpatient Palliative Care services to patients of all ages. In addition, the department serves a strong teaching mission to Alaska through its ACGME-accredited Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship, NP fellowship and teaching programs with the Alaska Family Medicine Residency program, WWAMI School of Medicine, and Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine. We are seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate clinician interested to work in this unique and rewarding environment. This is a clinician-educator position, designated as Associate Program Director for our fellowship, with protected non-clinical time and mentorship available. Our program is affiliated with WWAMI School of Medicine with opportunity for UWA clinical faculty appointment.
  • Board-certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine required.
  • Candidate should be passionate about serving diverse and rural communities.
