What you will learn
Work on understanding the entire ISH staining process from sample receiving, processing, staining and imaging. Develop exploratory protocols involving protein and ISH staining (specialty staining). Assist in the automation of file transfer from scanning to analysis module.Understanding the theory of RNAscope ISH technology
Assay development for RNAscope on Leica Bond Learning how to operate a VS200 slide scanner for fluorescent and chromogenic images. Basic laboratory organizational skills Learning proper techniques for maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory Improving collaboration skills by working with a close-knit group of researchers Experience working in a biotech environment.Qualifications
Actively pursuing a science related degree.
