Council is seeking to appoint a permanent full time Plumber to contribute to Council’s success.

About The Role

The purpose of this position is to carry out preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance and new construction of water and wastewater infrastructure and to achieve operational, maintenance and community needs.

Salary for this role is $83,068.05 plus generous on call provisions, allowances and up to 12% super. Annual increases apply. On call roster attracts additional leave entitlements.

You will bring:

Certificate III in Plumbing and licensed with the Queensland Building and Construction Commission. Labouring skills to perform physical tasks on a daily basis. Understanding of and experience in quality control techniquesExperience and competency operating under a current Medium Rigid (MR) License (or ability to obtain within probationary period).Current Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card). Work outside of normal work hours as requested by your supervisor as part of the requirements of the sections published 'on call' roster.
