Role Overview: The Mechanical Engineer will evaluate and improves current processes, design and install equipment for enhanced performance, and support continuous improvement in lean manufacturing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and maintain manufacturing machines.
  • Improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Design and develop equipment, tooling, and automation processes.
  • Assess and enhance manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Conduct audits and lead improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation.
  • Optimize workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • Train and direct engineering and maintenance personnel.
  • Utilize process analysis for smooth production transitions.
  • Coordinate with various plant personnel for production readiness.
  • Maintain production documentation and develop specifications for new equipment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 1-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience preferred.
  • Proficient in current and emerging technologies.
  • Strong skills in material processing, tooling, and part fabrication.
  • Excellent computer and communication skills.
