Bessolo Design Group, Inc., an Architectural/Engineering/Interior Design firm based in St. Petersburg, Florida and an award winning and highly rated Fast 50 Company by Tampa Bay Business Journal, is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator.

Project Coordinator supports Project Teams, by assisting in the facilitating of production and contract administration services. Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination support in the Architectural, Engineering and/or Interior Design field. This position calls for flexibility, multitasking, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors. This Project Coordinator position is not a remote position, and the hours are 8:30 am - 5:30 pm Monday - Friday.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Interfacing with clients, contractors, building departments and consultants.
  • Assisting with requesting and securing consultant proposals.
  • Assisting with project delivery to include preparation of transmittals and UPS/Courier.
  • Coordinating and scheduling of all project meetings and site visits, to include Owner, Architecture, Consultant and Contractor meetings as well as building department meetings.
  • Assisting with travel and hotel arrangements for site travel.
  • Assisting with construction administration to include maintaining RFI/Shops, Submittal Logs, Change Orders and Pay Requests.
  • Assisting with project scheduling and monitoring of project deliverables.
  • Coordinating special inspections including AHCA, reviews and inspections.
  • Assisting with the preparation of meeting minutes, project reports, project specifications and field reports.
  • Filing project documents and submittals.
  • Maintenance, research and retrieval of off storage archived files.
  • May provide administrative staff with overflow work support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable experience
  • Min. 3 yrs. experience as a Project Coordinator in an Architectural/Engineering, Interior Design firm or other closely related experience
  • Excellent computer skills: Outlook, Excel, Word, AIA Contract Document Software, QuickBooks Pro, Deltek or other accounting software
  • Multi-tasker, organized and able to prioritize
  • Self-motivated, attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines, teamwork attitude
  • Knowledge of commercial construction
  • Knowledge of general project management processes/procedures
