Job Summary:

We are seeking a software engineering professional to work onsite in our Aurora, CO location.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • The ability to obtain and maintain an SAP clearance.

  • Implementing object-oriented software in C++ and Java

  • Programing and developing in Java/C++

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior software engineering experience.

  • Experience programing/developing software in C++ or Java

  • Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with satellite command & control and flight dynamics software.

  • Experience with Object-oriented programming (OOP), Java, Eclipse integrated development environment (IDE), Linux, C++, Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE), Extensible Stylesheet Language (XSLT), and Transformations Extensible Markup Language (XML).

  • Experience with tools such as Tool Command Language (TCL) and Toolkit (TK)

Aurora, CO:

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
