Who we are:

NewsNation is a national news cable network currently reaching 75 million television households across the United States. The network is owned and operated by Nexstar Media Group (NXST).

NewsNation is currently searching for a part-time Assistant Director for our national newscasts, based in our new New York studios.
We are looking for a candidate with weekend availability.

Responsibilities:
The AD assists the show director during live shows with video elements, graphics, and various monitor inputs.
The AD will interact with the newscast producer to understand the content, tone, structure and pace of the newscast.
Must have in-depth knowledge of studio/remote broadcasting technology including automated servers, graphics systems, and editing. ENPS and BitCentral experience preferred.
The broadcast will be fast paced and highly produced using Ross Tessera and Ross XPression.
The AD will help design and implement use of new multi-area set and evolving format.
Coordinates with the News and Creative Services Departments to achieve the graphic elements of the newscast and should add creativity and ideas that enhance the final product.

This is a Union DGA position
Salary Range $65 - $75 per hour
