THE POSITION The main responsibilities and oversights of the Human Resources Coordinator for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:
Supporting HR Admin Specialists & Recruiting Managers/Specialists in managing the administrative life-cycle of employees within their assigned divisions
Onboarding employees:
- Preparing HR documents like new hire guides, policies and procedures, etc.
- Supporting the management of the onboarding process and onboarding system
- Handling I9/work authorization process
- Coordinating any relocations, making any necessary travel bookings, arranging travel accommodations and processing expense forms
- Assisting with organizing and providing welcome sessions for all new employees as needed
- First level support of HR Systems
- Organizing and maintaining personnel records
- Updating and maintaining the HR database and internal HR systems
- Managing and preparing HR documents
- Preparing contract amendments
- Drafting and issuing interim and final work certificates
- Creating regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)
- Answering employee queries about HR-related issues
- Absence management
- Assisting with contract formalities for transfer and termination processes
- Liaising with employees and relevant authorities regarding maternity, short and long-term sickness, pension fund, and accident cases and following up on pending cases, contact with authorities.
- Updating Org Charts in the intranet
- Providing support and advice for employees re HR directives / policies and procedures and system implementation
YOUR PROFILE
- Degree in Human Resources or relevant field preferred.
- At least two years of experience in HR administration
- Proven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant or a relevant role
- Experience with HR software
