The Sr. Mortgage Experience Associate will be responsible for supporting high end producers in the Mortgage Originations team by ensuring appropriate documentation is included in the loan file. This role is also responsible for direct interaction with customers, and collaborating with Premier Mortgage Consultants to ensure a complete loan file is ready for Underwriting.   The Sr. Mortgage Experience Associate will work with customer’s pre-application to counsel them on various types of mortgage financing, choosing a program best suited to their needs.

As our Senior Mortgage Experience Associate you will:

  • Prioritize work flow to meet deadlines
  • Responsible for customer engagement from during pre-approval, pre-application to prepare for loan submission
  • Serve as liaison with high end producing Premier Mortgage Consultants
  • Proactively follow up on assigned tasks to ensure completion in timely manner
  • Manage mortgage process to ensure positive customer experience
  • Complete mortgage application, follow through to closing and resolve any problems

    For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $58,700.00 and $88,100.00

    The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

    You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

    • At least 5 years proven mortgage sales experience
    • Minimum of an associate’s degree in business, related field or equivalent experience
    • Proven communications, decision-making, customer service, sales, support, problem-solving, multi-tasking and organizational skills
    • Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent mainframe systems and software packages
    • Advanced knowledge of the mortgage process, including pricing, registration, processing and closing
    • Incumbents in this role must successfully register with the Nationwide Mortgages
    • Licensing System Registry (NMLSR) and must obtain a unique identifier through the registry that will be provided to consumers with whom the incumbent interacts
    • In addition, incumbents in this role must successfully renew their registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System Registry (NMLSR) annual
