CompensationThe base hourly rate for this position is $20.00.

Positions FSK rolls or other material on mandrels. Hoists into feed section or slitter winder. Locks in position. Threads material through machine. Sets up slitter knives for product. Places core on mandrel and in take-up rack and tapes end of material to core. Starts machine slowly and adjusts tension as needed. Checks alignment of material and adjusts as necessary for proper slitting material and other materials. Varies machine speed as required to get proper winding and slitting of the FSK material and other materials. Guides trim to scrap collector. Cleans trim and dust from machine. Stops machine, cuts material, and tapes end of rewound roll. Uses hoist to remove mandrel and roll. Removes mandrel. Cuts out defective material and resplices rolls. Reports equipment malfunction to supervisor. Uses safe working practices and always reports hazardous conditions. Always maintains good housekeeping. Reports time, production, and material use as directed.
