*Travel, PRN, Short-Term Option, etc.). Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Implement and monitor patient care plans. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
~ Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

 
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.

We are a specialized Med Surg unit that sees patients with musculoskeletal issues including broken or fractured bones, arthritis, osteoporosis, joint replacements, and other injuries and diseases. You will also see Laminectomy/Discectomy surgeries, Trauma Injuries, and Podiatry patients. 
 
We get patients from ER, ICU transfers, elective ortho/neuro surgeries from PACU, and direct admits.
