We are hiring for a Director of Architecture and Interior Design to be a part of a Luxury Custom Home Building Team based in Henderson, NV.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day to day project and client management for multi- discipline architectural and Interior design services for luxury custom home projects and teams from the initial planning through construction phase.
Responsibilities
- Successfully developing strategy, preparing and reviewing proposals, negotiating contracts, and executing project(s)
- Overseeing projects throughout the lifecycle of the project from identification and data capture, execution, construction and closeout.
- Managing and directing professional and technical staff to complete complex architectural and interior design projects.
- Overseeing the development of work plans and organizing project studies
- Developing and managing project schedules and budgets
- Conducting reviews and providing staff feedback for continued improvement Implementing quality assurance programs and procedures.
- Managing teams across multiple disciplines, and/or management of consultants.
- Preparing, coordinating, and facilitating project meetings, preparing and maintaining the agenda with associated meeting minutes Maintaining project documentation control
- Reviewing design documents and coordinating design reviews with various executive stakeholders
- Assisting with project presentations to senior management
- Facilitating team communication, coordination, and collaboration to support assigned projects.
- Being a Collaborator with, and mentoring less experienced employees
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited university required
- U.S. Architectural license, preferably Nevada
- Proficient in REVIT and/or AutoCAD, with preference being given to candidates with REVIT.
- Must be able to manage and produce documents on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills, both orally and in writing
- Responsibilities include all phases of design documentation through construction administration, project management and client contact.
- Effectively demonstrate technical detailing and problem-solving skills on complex project types
