Revenue Accounting Manager Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the broader team on completing month-end close activities and accurate reporting of key revenue data.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance in accordance with ASC Topic 606.
  • Review revenue agreements in connection with the deal review process.
  • Work on ad hoc projects, as necessary.
  • Prepare and/or review various analyses including SSP, Gross Down, and Deferred Commissions.
  • Update and/or review various trackers.
Revenue Accounting Manager Qualifications
  • 8+ years of related experience in Revenue/Accounting.
  • Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • CPA with Big 4 experience is preferred.
  • Experience with the SaaS/Technology industry.
  • A highly productive self-starter with a very strong work ethic.
  • Strong accountability and detail-oriented; prepares accurate and timely work product.
  • Ability to work independently, thrive, and be a team player.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and messaging skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environment.
  • Capable of moving between a variety of roles with ease with working with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of global quote-to-cash business processes and best practices.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Salesforce, Apttus, and experience using Workday.
  • Great communicator with an entrepreneurial mindset who is also excited and energetic about joining a transformative team.
  • ASC606, CPA, Deferred Revenue, Revenue Recognition and SSP.
