Naval Reactors Facility is seeking an experienced Radiological Engineer to join the Radiological Controls Department team of Engineers and Technicians. This individual will be responsible for oversight and approval of radiological work, writing and reviewing technical reports and procedures, data analysis and trending, validating engineering design of equipment for performing radiological work and radiological systems, and oversight of the conduct of radiological work.



Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field and 6 years of relevant experience; orMaster's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field and 4 years of relevant experience; or Currently or previously Shift Supervisor Part I qualified; orEDO qualified and 2 years EOOW qualified in the Nuclear Operations Program; or3 years SRE qualified and Water Instructor and Refueling Facility Area Refueling Engineer and Fuel and Barrier Shift Supervisor (ECF only); Education in radiation health or nuclear engineering.

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation.
