Principal Technician (Electrical Engineering)
Our Client:
Our client is an exciting, well-funded startup company with a notable leadership team. This great team is building brain interfaces to understand and treat psychiatric disorders.
Their first product is an ultra-miniaturized, fully implanted, deep-brain interface for closed-loop neuromodulation via electrical recording and stimulation.
The Role
- EE work: hand soldering, PCB rework, crimping and cabling, light box and fixtures build and assembly
- ME work: work with shop tools and programmable tools such as 3D printers, small CNC, and laser cutters
- Write MPI, TPI, and rework instructions.
- Create drawings for cables, fixtures
Who you are
You're a conscientious, detail-oriented operator who cares deeply about our mission and is excited to learn new things.
More specifically, you have:
- >10 years experience as a technician in an EE and/or ME lab
- The desire to chip in wherever helpful, even outside your on-paper duties
- Excitement about working at a fast-paced startup
- Interest in working full-time, in-person in South San Francisco
