The Director uses strategic thinking to effectively manage product strategy, project execution, technical expertise, research initiatives, and team leadership to drive successful outcomes. This role leverages their hands-on experience leading development teams, along with their abilities in direct building of applications and Data Platforms in the cloud, to achieve successful outcomes of business objectives.

Define and execute the product strategy for digital web platforms, aligning with overall business objectives and customer needs
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user feedback sessions to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation
Develop the annual roadmap and budget for the Digital Web area and manages costs against approved budget
Oversees backlog of requests and prioritizes with necessary IT and business stakeholders
Manages end to end lifecycle of the Digital Web technology products from design, development, maintenance through de-commissioning
Leverage agile methodologies to drive to regular releases that provide optimal value to the Brother team
Define, analyze and report on metrics that inform the success and quality of Digital Web products and features
Provide coaching, support, and professional development opportunities to team members, empowering them to achieve their full potential
Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team, creating a supportive and inclusive work environment
Manage and optimize the governance structure in place to oversee all vendor delivery and services.
Assesses vendor risks and strategic alignment throughout the lifecycle of the vendor relationship and identify alternative vendor partners as needed
Be an advocate for the digital web technology platforms and tools at Brother
Deep understanding of the digital web market, competitive landscape and solution ecosystem
Ensures teams are forecasting demand (across incidents, maintenance, enhancements and projects) and adjusting based on trends and priority changes
Identify resource constraints or risks and provide mitigation options to ensure effective and efficient operations in the Digital Web team

Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field – Preferred
Leading IT product management, project management, or related roles within the digital web space.
Successfully leading cross-functional teams and driving digital web projects from concept to launch.
People management and supporting employee development
Software/Technical Skills
Advanced knowledge of Enterprise SaaS software products, Microsoft Azure Cloud, App Services, AI Services and IPaaS
Advanced knowledge of web hosting technologies (.NET, Java, JavaScripting) and B2B with consumer goods experience
Knowledge of cybersecurity, compliance, application security and data privacy
Knowledge of DevOps methods and technologies (Kubernetes)
Subject to business needs, employees may work remotely up to two days per week.
