Designcraft is a prototype-oriented job shop helping our client companies bring new products to market. There is a flow of new part geometries, along with a variety of materials and quantities. Creating the parts which are used in our high-quality visual prototypes which look, feel, and function like real products. We leverage 3, 4, and 5-axis machines to meet our fast-paced schedules with the highest quality. Shift handoffs

* Prepping material and machine setup for metal and plastic parts

* In-process inspection at the machine

* The nature of prototyping demands project deadlines measured in days or weeks. Communication with others on the team will be integral in moving a project to completion. Experience using measuring equipment

* Budget time effectively with simultaneous projects and deliverables

* Creativity, problem-solving skills, and a visual eye

* Willingness to work occasional overtime, and have a “do what it takes” attitude

* Mechanical aptitude to use various hand tools and shop equipment

* Computer skills: MS Office, working knowledge of 3D CAD/CAM software




*Must be able to understand, write, and communicate instructions in English
