Registered Nurse (RN) - ER Charge Nurse

As a Registered Nurse at North Okaloosa Medical Center, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. Associates Degree in Nursing, Bachelors preferred
* Under the direction of the Director/Manager, supervises and coordinates the work activities of the professional and technical staff
* provides management coaching, guidance, and on-the-job training and retraining, as necessary, to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
* Monitors the quality of patient care to ensure the safety of the patient is maintained during all procedures and safety standards are adhered to
* Ensures quality assurance standards are followed.
* Reports equipment problems to department manager or service personnel as required
* Communicates with administration, medical staff, employees, and other departments to coordinate efforts, meet special needs, and address problems or concerns. Establishes quality improvement, fiscal productivity, and patient satisfaction goals and objectives in conjunction with upper management
* Assures assignments are appropriate to patient acuity and skill level of nursing personnel
* Acts as a clinical resource person to staff to complete tasks assigned timely
* Functions as a direct care giver with patient assignment as needed
