We are seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time, licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established Rheumatology care center in Latham, NY situated just north of Albany and south of Saratoga Springs.
Our care center has 1 Physician, 1 Nurse Practitioner, 3 exam rooms, a state-of-the-art Infusion Suite with 4 chairs, interventional ultrasound, and a dedicated staff. We specialize in treating general Rheumatology, Rheumatoid arthritis, Osteoporosis, Gout, Lupus, Inflammatory conditions, and more.

Responsibilities:
Examine patients and their medical records
Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
Diagnose and Propose treatments for autoimmune and arthritic diseases
Prescribe medications and IV Infusion Treatments
Maintain accurate records and schedules
Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics and prevention
Oversee patients overall health
Promote good health practices
Advance professional knowledge and conduct research
Other duties as assigned by collaborating physician
Requirements:
~1yr+ experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Rheumatology, Internal Medicine, Orthopedics, or Primary Care preferred
~ Joint Injection experience preferred
~ Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
~ Excellent communication skills, verbal, and written.
~ Strong ethics
~ Team spirit with a positive attitude, patience and cool-headedness
~ Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
~ Valid Texas nurse practitioner license
~ Masters degree; PhD is a plus
