UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center is pleased to offer long-term employee housing at Creek's End, a 42-unit development consisting of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom pet-friendly condos located just over a mile from the hospital campus. Amenities include all major appliances including in-unit washer and dryer, private patio or balcony, unit-controlled heating and air conditioning, and onsite parking. Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. Provides top of scope practice in direct patient care to provide various ultrasound procedures
Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care
Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary. Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results.
