Highlights
Work Schedule : Monday - Friday (8:00am - 4:30pm)
Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME) Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory CME: Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement (must be full-time with board certification) Malpractice: Free liability protection with tail coverage provided Contract: No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting
Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment)
Directly supervises the primacy care providers in their assigned PACT teams (not sure if we need to specify what this entails, of if that is enough)
Assists the Chief of Primary Care and the Deputy Chief of Primary Care in reviewing, recommending, and overseeing the credentialing and privileging primary care providers in accordance with VHA policy
Assists the Chief of Primary Care and the Deputy Chief of Primary Care in managing peer reviews
Assists Primary Care leadership in management of clinic access and matrix development
Attends appropriate committees pertinent to clinical operations and quality and performance
Promotes provider education and development by the delivery and organization of educational opportunities
Demonstrates a commitment to professional enrichment, merit promotion, equal employment opportunity, and positive labor relations as needed
Assist with the recruitment and orientation of primary care providers
