Are you looking for that weekend job opportunity? Are you passionate about patient care? We are looking for a nurse practitioner (NP) for primary care weekend rounding in skilled nursing facilities in the Morristown, New Jersey, area.
This part-time role will work weekends only rounding at three facilities, making it a great side job or for someone looking to work part-time that wants their weekdays free. Minimal call requirements for weekend day call only for facilities assigned. You will have the ability to set up your own daily schedule and manage your patient visits the way you like to practice medicine. TeamHealth has the resources and support to help you deliver the best quality of care possible to your patients.
Perform primary care in a post-acute setting for short term and long-term patients
Manage chronic disease, diagnose illness and medical conditions, and implement plan of care
Consult with physicians and coordinate patient care with other healthcare practitioners
Build relationships with your patients, patients' family members, and facility staff to facilitate effective treatment delivery
Ability to collaborate with the healthcare team
Empathy, compassion and ability to connect and engage with your senior patients or residents
1+ year of primary care experience required
Post-acute care experience a plus, but not required
Active and unrestricted New Jersey NP license or application in process
Active and unrestricted DEA or application in process
