Raytheon currently has an exciting IT systems administrator position available that supports the Raytheon mission of making the world a safer place. We are seeking an experienced Windows/Linux System Administrator that will be working in a highly collaborative, multi-platform and multi-disciplined environment. The System Administrator must possess a secret security clearance as they will be responsible for administering systems that contain classified data.
* The candidate will be responsible for provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software related to a Windows/Linux infrastructure for classified programs. Duties include, but are not limited to, server management (software and hardware); cross platform authentication and access management; data backup and restoration; software and license configuration; Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux environment.
* Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
* Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned.
* Full time 100% Onsite position.
*Typically, Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience or 9 years of prior relevant experience.
* Must have an active Secret US security clearance. US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
* Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, Backup Exec, NetBackup, prior systems administration and networking administration experience, Windows or Linux administration, backup, and recovery enterprise suites.
*Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, Windows desktops (Windows 10, 11), Splunk and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.
* Scripting/ automation PowerShell, Bash
* Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) and an Operating System Certification.
* Direct working experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF.
* In-depth working experience in Windows Server
* Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions.
* Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.
* Experience with Microsoft WSUS, SCCM, and/or Exchange

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
