This includes overseeing and supporting our various certifications, including Level II Trauma Designation, Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and participation in the American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Project (NSQIP).
We are seeking an individual who can be an excellent resource for surgical resident and fellow training, foster physician development, and be a visionary who can help guide the growth and development of the surgical service line.
The successful candidate should be a board certified and established general surgeon or fellowship trained surgical subspecialist with at least seven years of clinical experience and proven experience operating in a leadership role. The ideal candidate should be a strong relationship-builder who can relate and work collaboratively with, and provide oversite to, both our employed and community physicians.
